PROBUS SOUTH PACIFIC LIMITED
NOMINATING SELECTION COMMITTEE
Two members are required for a Nominating Selection Committee
in each of New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory, Western
Australia and New Zealand Districts 9940, 9970 and 9980.
Nominations are therefore invited from current members of
Probus Clubs in New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory,
Western Australia and New Zealand Districts 9940, 9970 and 9980
wishing to serve as a member of a Probus South Pacific Limited
Nominating Selection Committee 2014.
If there are more nominations than required from the area
of selection for appointment to Probus South Pacific Limited
Nominating Selection Committee, a Ballot of nominations received
will be undertaken in the offices of Probus South Pacific Limited, 85
George Street, Parramatta at 10.00am on 7 January 2014 by Probus
South Pacific Limited Company Secretary in compliance with
Probus South Pacific Limited Constitution for such circumstances.

Applications are invited from nominees residing in New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory (1),
Western Australia (1) and New Zealand Districts 9940, 9970 and 9980 (1).

the Probus organisation.
As a Director you will gain experience in the issues facing a growing number of retirees and will
contribute to improving the wellbeing and lifestyle of active retirees. You will be focused and willing to take
on the challenge, and in return you will achieve your own personal fulfilment in retirement.
Nominations must be proposed and seconded in writing, in a form approved by the Board, by the
president and secretary of the nominee’s Probus club. Both the proposer and the seconder must certify in
the nomination that they believe that the nominee has experience in the likely business of the Company as
well as experience working in a team.
A nominee must be a current member of a Probus club within the area for which a vacancy exists, have
been a member of that Probus club for at least three years and at least one of the following must be true:
i. The nominee has been a member of a Probus club for at least the past five years and has served on the
Management Committee of a Probus club for at least three years, consecutively or otherwise.
ii. The nominee is a Rotarian (being a person who is or has been a financial member of a Rotary club) who has
served as a Rotary District Probus Chairman or has been actively engaged in the formation of Probus clubs
and in Probus district administration.
iii. the nominee is a Past District Governor of Rotary International.

Cover available for travel between 1 December 2012 and 30 November
2013. Please contact PSP for more details of cover available, terms and
conditions, and fee structure for 2012–13. Conditions apply. Probus

• any Probus member and guest on any recognised Probus travel or private travel
• one flat fee, with no additional costs regardless of age or pre-existing medical conditions

Best of all, applying is easy.
PSP have been able to secure an extension beyond the policy renewal date of 30 November 2013.
This extension allows members who start their trip between the 30 November 2013 and 29 May 2014.
There is a condition attached to this extension, in that members are only able to take out this
insurance within 6 months of their start date. Members are encouraged to contact PSP prior to
submitting an application.
