Annual capitation fees
PSPL’s primary role is to provide
service and support to the
Probus community in both
Australia and New Zealand.
We provide a framework that
allows Probus clubs to focus on
friendship, fellowship and fun.
That framework includes assisting
existing clubs, in every reasonable
way possible, to ensure that they
are thriving and to promote and
form new Probus clubs.
The capitation fees cover a
wide range of administration,
insurance, member benefits and
support services. To maintain
our services and to continue to
fund membership growth and
development, the 2017-2018
capitation fees have been set at
$12.75 per annum per Probus
club member, which represents
an increase of $0.50 cents
(4.1 per cent) for the full year.
The subscription fee of $10.00
per annum for the flagship
publication Active Retirees will
remain unchanged for the year
2017-2018. This represents
excellent value for money at just
$1.67 per issue and we encourage
you to support this publication
through your subscription. The cost
of the digital subscription to Active
Retirees will also remain unchanged
at $8.00 per year. This represents
even better value at $1.33 per issue.
Annual capitation forms were
posted to clubs in November 2016
and should be returned to our
office by 30 April 2017.
The 2017 Probus Information Days
will commence across Australia
from March 2017.
The purpose of the Probus
Information Days will be to provide
guidance and valuable information
to assist club officers lead their
club through a successful year.
Topics will include:
The day will also provide
breakout sessions and an
opportunity to network with other
club officers. If you are interested
in attending an information
session but have not received any
details, please contact our office
on 1300 630 488.
